ISTQB Advanced Testing courses:
In 2012 we'll be running ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, Advanced Test Analyst and Advanced Technical Test Analyst training courses; the latter two will be split into a two day core module
and a three day specialised module, so you don't have to do the same core material twice if you do both courses (which also makes it cheaper!)
Writing Technical Documents:
If you are responsible for writing technical documents you are the difference between a team who know what they are doing and why, and total chaos. This one day course will teach you to write in the most clear and unambiguous way possible by providing examples of technical writing, tips, guidelines and an editing checklist.

Here at SoftEd we're pretty sure the 'test is dead' debate will continue for some time and if you want a thought provoking and insightful view on the subject please watch Goranka Bjedov's 2011 STANZ presentation on the subject.
STANZ
Here at SoftEd HQ the planning is well underway for STANZ 2012 and we have some exciting news, this year we'll be in Auckland and Christchurch!
STANZ is going on the road and on the 10th of September we'll be in Christchurch with two international testing experts and a host of local and SoftEd talent. On the 11th we'll be doing it all again in Auckland. There will be more information on our website over the next few weeks and months and if you have any questions or want to get your name down to attend please email info-nz@softed.com.
